Monthly statements and payout schedule

Your payout is issued on the 15th of each month, or the next working day if the 15th is a non-working day, and covers the previous month's income and expenses as set out in your monthly statement.

Do

  • Review your statement in the window between the 10th and the 15th, while corrections can still be made in the same cycle.
  • Keep your registered payout bank details current in the Landlord Portal — outdated details are the most common cause of a delayed transfer.
  • Retain your monthly statements; they are the supporting records for your rental income and for DET (formerly DTCM) and tax-related reporting on the property.

Don’t

  • Do not treat the gross rental figure shown against a reservation as your payout — the payout is net of expenses for the period.
  • Do not expect income from a stay that ends after month end to appear in that month's statement; it is accounted for in the period in which it is recognised.

Your property generates income and incurs expenses throughout the month. We close that month, reconcile it, publish your statement, and then release the money. This article sets out the dates, the documents, and where to check each figure.

The monthly cycle at a glance

WhenWhat happens
1st–end of monthReservations, rental income and expenses accrue against your property
On or before the 10thYour statements for the previous month are published in the Landlord Portal
On the 15thPayout is released for the previous month's income and expenses
Next working dayIf the 15th is a non-working day, the payout moves to the next working day

When you are paid

  • Payouts are made on the 15th of each month.
  • If the 15th falls on a non-working day, the payout is processed on the next working day.
  • Each payout covers the previous calendar month's rental income, less expenses recorded against your property for that period.
  • We have a five-day window between statement publication (on or before the 10th) and payout (the 15th) so you can review the figures before the funds move.
Once a payout has been released it cannot be reversed. If a figure on your statement looks wrong, raise it with us before the 15th so it can be corrected in the same cycle rather than adjusted in the following month.

When your statement is published

All statements, including income and expense statements and the underlying transactions, are updated on or before the 10th of each month for the previous month's transactions. You will find them in your Landlord Portal.

Landlord Portal sectionWhat you will find there
Incomes & ExpensesIncome and expense statements and the full transaction list for the previous month
Balance & PayoutsYour current balance, previous month's balance, upcoming balance, the list of payouts made, and the Audit Trail Report
ReservationsReservation-level detail for your property, updated manually twice per week
Exception. Reservation details are updated twice per week, not in real time. A booking confirmed today may not appear in the Reservations section until the next update. This does not affect your statement, which is reconciled at month end.

How to check a payout before it lands

  1. Open your Landlord Portal after the 10th of the month.
  2. Go to Incomes & Expenses and open the statement for the previous month.
  3. Review the income lines against the Reservations section for the same period.
  4. Review the expense lines — maintenance, utilities, and any owner-stay charges recorded against the property.
  5. Open Balance & Payouts to confirm the net amount scheduled for release and cross-check it against the Audit Trail Report.
  6. If anything is unclear, contact us before the 15th.

Owner stays

If you or your guests use the property yourself, the applicable cleaning fee is charged to your account and appears as an expense line on the statement for that month. The current fee is shown, and kept up to date, in your owner portal.

If a payout is late or a figure looks wrong

  1. Confirm the 15th was a working day; if it was not, the payout moves to the next working day.
  2. Check Balance & Payouts in your Landlord Portal to see whether the payout has been marked as released.
  3. Confirm your registered bank details are correct and current.
  4. If the payout still has not reached you, or a statement line is disputed, contact us with the property name and the statement month.

In an emergency at the property, contact local emergency services first, then notify us.

Payouts are sent on the 15th (or the next business day). How long the money takes to reach your account depends on your bank. International transfers can take longer and your bank or an intermediary bank may charge a fee.
