Do
- Connect to the 5 GHz network if two networks are listed and you're near the router — it's faster.
- Use the 2.4 GHz network if you're in a far bedroom or on a balcony — it reaches further.
- Disconnect devices you're not using if several people are streaming at once.
- Sign out of every streaming account before you check out — Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and anything else you logged into.
- Use the TV's own remote for streaming apps; the receiver remote only controls live channels where those are provided.
Don’t
- Don't reset the router to factory settings using the pinhole button — this wipes the configuration and you'll lose internet entirely until a technician visits.
- Don't unplug or move the router's cables to another socket or room.
- Don't change the network name or password.
- Don't factory reset the TV or delete pre-installed apps.
- Don't unplug the TV, receiver or streaming box from the wall or rearrange the cables.
- Don't purchase paid content or subscriptions through the TV — any charges are yours to settle.
Wi-Fi is included in every one of our properties, and it's free for you as a guest. You'll find the network name and password in the apartment — no extra sign-up, no charges, no data caps to worry about.
How to connect
- Look for the Wi-Fi card, welcome folder or sticker in the apartment — usually near the TV, on the fridge or on the router itself.
- On your phone or laptop, open Wi-Fi settings and pick the network name shown on the card.
- Enter the password exactly as written — passwords are case-sensitive and often mix letters and numbers.
- If the network doesn't appear, move closer to the router and refresh the list.
Can't find the details or the password isn't working? Message us on WhatsApp at +971 (4) 392-0202 or email info@deluxehomes.com and we'll send them straight to you.
If the connection drops
- Forget the network on your device and reconnect, entering the password again.
- Restart your device.
- Unplug the router from the power socket, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Give it two to three minutes to come back online.
- Still nothing? Contact us on +971 (4) 392-0202 — we'll troubleshoot with you and arrange a technician if the line itself is down.
New properties and temporary 5G routers
If your apartment has recently joined our portfolio, the permanent fixed internet line may still be in the process of being installed. In the meantime we provide a 5G SIM router, so you still have Wi-Fi from the moment you arrive.
- It works exactly like normal Wi-Fi — connect with the network name and password provided.
- Because it runs on a mobile network, performance can vary slightly with signal strength and how many devices are connected.
- Keep the router in the open where it was placed — putting it in a cupboard, behind a TV or on the floor weakens the signal.
- It stays in place until the permanent line is live.
What to expect from the speed
Our properties run on standard residential internet and speeds are generally high — fine for streaming, video calls, browsing and remote working. We can't guarantee a specific speed in any individual property, as it depends on the building's line, the number of devices connected and, on a temporary 5G router, the mobile signal.
| Typically fine | May be affected |
| Browsing, email, messaging | Multiple 4K streams at the same time |
| Video calls and remote work | Very large uploads or downloads |
| Music and HD streaming | Competitive online gaming |
Smart TV and streaming
TV features vary from property to property. Each of our homes is listed individually, so the entertainment set-up — whether the TV is a Smart TV, and which channels or apps it carries — is described in the listing for the specific property you booked. Check your listing or booking confirmation to see exactly what's included.
Where a Smart TV is provided, you can usually sign in to your own streaming accounts using the apps already installed on the TV.
Personal devices and hotspots
- You're welcome to use your own mobile hotspot or portable router alongside the property Wi-Fi.
- Plug-in devices such as travel routers or streaming sticks can be used with the TV's HDMI port where one is accessible — just remove them and restore the original setup before check-out.
- Please don't drill, mount or permanently install any equipment.
